Again just 10 minutes per day as you work off your belly fat will tone your tummy up lovely.

3. Cardio exercise - Crunches and leg raises are all well and good for toning your stomach muscles, but they will not burn off your belly fat without help from fat burning exercise. 20 minutes per day of steady, sweat producing exercise is all you need to burn off that belly fat and flatten your tummy.

4. White meat - If you are wanting to form your nice flat stomach muscles then protein is essential. But red meat will work against your attempts to burn off your belly fat. Chicken and fish (preferably grilled or steamed) will provide just as much protein with only a fraction of the fat content.

5. Fresh fruit and vegetables - Your diet must be healthy in order to achieve your goal and burn off your tummy fat. There is no point doing any of the other things if you're still popping out for a crafty burger or ordering pizza 3 times a week. Fruit and veg smoothies or fresh fruit sorbets are perfect desserts for after your healthy fish dinner.
