Let's see how easy is the concepts is. The keys of a flat tummy are 1.) take your breakfast, 2.) smaller meal, 3.) more fiber, 4.) more water, 5.) avoid "white" food.

Sound easy right? But, you need a little bit of planning on your daily meal with the 5 concepts above. And keep in your mind, losing fat is about 80% on your diet and 20% on exercise. So, plan a good diet for your flat tummy.

Why you should take your breakfast?

Your body hasn't had anything for the pass 12 hours. So if you skipped your breakfast, it makes you take a huge lunch in the afternoon. If your job is in house based or outdoor based, that huge meal you just took will be difficult to digest. This caused by a "after meal drowsiness", you're now unproductive and inactive and the most important is "this is how the fat produce!"

So, having a healthy breakfast is the most important things to begin a brand new day.

Taking a smaller meal will keep your metabolism steady. Nutritionist suggests eating one small meal every three hours. Having a huge meal will speed up our metabolism. So, eating something small every three hours will keep that metabolism burning calories and will help you lose fat. 

In addition, every small meal should include lean protein, fiber and water. Lean protein is to avoid your body to break down your muscles for fuel, which would shrink your abs as well as slow down your metabolism. Fiber and water is too keeping your metabolism goes smooth and steady.

Fibers are indeed undigested carbohydrates. Our enzymes are unable to break them down and therefore fibers are not absorbed into the bloodstream. Instead of being used for energy, fibers are excreted from our bodies. In short, fibers help us to excrete the toxin out from our bodies. Foods containing plenty of fiber have more bulk than low-fiber foods. If taken in the right form at the right time and at sufficient quantities, fiber can sometimes slow the onset of hunger.

We usually don't take enough fiber. The recommended amounts for fibers are not much. You can get fibers from whole grains, fruits and vegetables, and nuts and seeds. There are also fiber supplement available in the market.

Water is an important component in a lose fat program. Drink at least 8 cups (2L) of water a day. You can drink tea without sugar to make up some of the quota. Especially green tea will rev up you "metabolism". In fat loss program, thirst is a much weaker stimulus than hunger. If you always feel hungry after meal, don't think that you need to eat more. You may simply be thirsty! So, drink more water. Human Body contains 75% of water. So, water is so important for us to sustain a healthy life.

White food like white rice, white flour, and refined sugar cause insulin spikes and trigger increased storage of dietary fat storage. It will slow down the burning of our body fat. So, avoid whiter for your flat tummy dream.

A flat tummy won't happen in a day time. Motivation is the key for your flat tummy plan. If you want a change of your body and your life style, a subsistence diet is a must.
